Electronics at School

I think people in our school should be allowed to bring electronics to school to a certain extent. Instead of keeping electronics in our pockets all day I think it would be better if we kept them in our backpack. That would eliminate the chances of kids cheating on a test for the most part. I think the most important pro would be using your phone in case of any emergencies. I don't really think we would need to use our cellphones for emergencies in class; the phones in school are always available. If there were any emergencies out school like on your way back home you still have access to your phone. I think we should also be allowed to use our devices outside of school as in during recess. 

There are a lot of children in the world who don't have a say in what they want from life. If you were to ask a child growing up in Canada what they would like to do/accomplish in the future you would probably get answers like; become a doctor, fire-fighter, singer, etc. If you were to ask a child in Kenya and tons of other parts of the world their answer might just be as simple as wanting to attend school. They don't have a choice on whether or not they are able to attend school, and yes we don't really either .... but they're lives are getting ruined because most of them can't go to school and then eventually get a job to pay for food, homes and medical care.
 We are silent today to see how it feels to not be able to express what we think is right and what we believe in like other people around the world. Our job is to stay quiet for 24 hours (8 for some) This is a pretty effective campaign because we find that its actually really difficult to stay quiet for a really long time and most of us sort of get some understanding of how the other people feel. This campaign is interesting for me because I talk a lot and its actually nice to shut up sometimes, its interesting to see that I actually can be quiet for a long period of time.

This is a pretty cool podcast because the kids talking are only in grade 3 and are speaking clearly and not messing up..... and im pretty sure i'd mess up doing a podcast. It's a funny podcast too because of how serious the kids sound when they talk.

Blogspot Use

I think the point of this blogging project is so we can learn a bit more with technology. I don't think i'm going to use this blog a lot after we are finished with this project because of other blogging sites like tumblr. I like blog-spot but that's mostly because of other people I know being on blog-spot  and being able to communicate with them online. So if other people in my class don't go on after we are done with it  I guess there isn't any point of me using it after. Where as on tumblr you aren't really there for the people you know personally and I don't need rely on people  to come on.

Favorite Movie

My favorite movie of all time is 'Up' (Had a tough time choosing because Beauty and The Beast is a classic) . I really love that movie because it has an interesting plot, It's very cute and I have always loved all the characters. There are funny movies that end up being extremely stupid with not even a tad bit of seriousness but Up has some sad/"emotional" scenes in it. Yeah .... Up is pretty cool ....
